Groundwork Solutions Ltd is a family-run company established in 2011, originally trading as RJM Elite Building Ltd before becoming Groundwork Solutions Ltd when two experienced directors combined their expertise. Today, we are a blended family business with over 61 years of combined groundwork experience, delivering reliable, high-quality services across a wide range of projects.
 

Based in the historic village of Clare, Suffolk, with a storage yard in nearby Long Melford, we are ideally located to serve clients throughout Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, and the surrounding areas. Our central base allows us to respond efficiently to projects of all sizes.

We provide a comprehensive range of customisable groundwork services tailored to each client’s requirements. Our expertise covers both new build and refurbishment projects, across commercial and domestic sectors.
 

Since our formation, we have successfully completed over 396 projects, ranging in value from £3,000 to £5.5 million, with recent tender submissions for projects up to £13 million. We have built a dependable supply chain to ensure every project is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards—from initial planning through to final completion.

Health and safety is at the core of our operations. We have an internally appointed competent person to oversee compliance, supported by an external health and safety consultant when required. We also have a dedicated specialist managing applications for external boundary works, including Section 278 and Section 50 approvals, ensuring a smooth and streamlined process from start to finish.
